Materials, care and returns

Is this real gold?

No. These are gold-tone and gold-plated costume pieces, described that way on every listing. They are made to be worn and enjoyed at this price, not to be valued as fine jewelry.

Will the plating turn my skin green?

Plated jewelry can react with skin oils, lotion and perspiration over time. Put jewelry on last, take it off before showering or swimming, and wipe it dry before storing.

How do I keep the scarves looking new?

Hand wash the satin-feel scarves in cool water with a mild detergent and hang to dry. Avoid wringing, which sets creases into the weave.

Do the headbands fit all head sizes?

The elastic turban bands stretch across a wide range. Non-stretch braided bands are more fixed, so check the stated width and circumference on the listing.

Can I return jewelry?

Yes, within 30 days, unworn with tags attached. For hygiene reasons earrings must be sealed. Return postage is yours for a change of mind; we cover it if the piece is faulty or we sent the wrong one.
